At lunchtime on 23rd March 2022, we launched the official trailer for our Spring 2022 show, The Last Five Years, which opens on 6th April for four nights.

An emotionally powerful and intimate musical, The Last Five Years tells the story of Cathy and Jamie, two twenty-somethings in modern-day New York. The show covers the five years of their relationship, but in an unconventional way: Jamie tells his story from the start, forwards while Cathy tells her side from the end, backwards. Along the way, they explore what it means to be in a relationship in today’s world and how the lives of two creative people collide and break apart.
Director Michael Horne says: “Rehearsals have been an absolute joy with both Lauren Bain and Simon Jackson working their socks off. It’s proving to be such an emotional show for us all and it’s wonderful to be back at Sharnbrook Mill Theatre doing what we love.”
Michael is joined in the creative process by the fabulous pairing of Kaye Tompkins, musical director and Davina Beegoo-Price, co-director.
