Mim Bradshaw: In memoriam

We are sad to announce the passing of yet another Mill stalwart, Mim Bradshaw.

Mim joined the Trust in 1968 initially as a performer (she had a wonderful soprano voice) and over the years appeared in many shows and entertainments we staged in the Church Hall in the village.

Once we were established at the Mill, she and Betty Benson eventually took over the bar facility together. Mim’s customary greeting at the bar was “Hello, my darling!”

Together with her husband Noel, who pre-deceased her, they managed the cellar and bar equipment maintenance. Mim served on the Production and Social committees and was a Governor of the Trust. Upon her retirement, in recognition of her dedicated service, Mim was made an Honorary Life Member.

RIP Mim.
