Sharnbrook Mill Theatre is located in Sharnbrook, North Bedfordshire between Bedford and Rushden. It is entirely owned by a charitable trust. The theatre opened in 1979, although the society pre-dates the theatre by many years. You can read a short history of The Mill here.
We aim to produce at least four shows a year with a mixture of drama, musicals and variety, with audiences drawn from both the surrounding area and further afield. Details of our latest productions can be seen on our homepage and a partial history of past shows is also available.
You can read all about our mission and values here. Find out how to get involved at The Mill by looking at our volunteers page or seeing what it takes to become a member.

In 2020, Sharnbrook Mill Theatre Trust was awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service (QAVS). QAVS is equivalent to the MBE and is the highest award a voluntary group can receive in the UK.
As well as our own productions, we also host other groups including youth outreach, company meetings, performing groups, weddings, parties and other private functions. You can read all about how to hire The Mill here.
