This is the story of the black man’s struggle for freedom in America.
An original play by Michael Prior in four acts – Slavery; Segregation; I Have a Dream; Black Power.

This play is suitable for adults only as there is some ‘difficult’ material within.

About the play

This is a one-man play with Michael Prior as Martin Luther King,Jr.
There are two icons in the black man’s struggle for his freedom and civil rights: Nelson Mandela (which Michael performed in 2005) and Martin Luther King, Jr.
Michael’s previous plays concerning Hitler, Jesus, Chairman Mao, Nelson Mandela, Winston Chuchill, Auschwitz, Oliver Cromwell and King Charles 1 were performed in Bedford over the past twenty five years.
